About CT SOPHE

The Connecticut Chapter of the Society for Public Health Education (CT SOPHE) is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to providing leadership to the field of public health education and promotion.

CT SOPHE aims to provide continuing education, advocacy, and local leadership to the field with the goal of improving the health of communities in Connecticut. CT SOPHE's work and initiatives are guided by the vision of improving health equity and closing health disparity gaps throughout the state of Connecticut.

This chapter works to provide opportunities for local public health professionals to participate in continuing education events, obtain CHES credits, network with local professionals, and mentor students from the many public health programs throughout Connecticut.

We are dedicated to providing public health professionals and students with the tools and information they need to effectively and successfully improve the health of communities throughout the state.
